Happy New Years

As funny it is we are always quick to get rid of or write off people for the new year, yet we carry our own OLD ass's into the new year.... This will in fact undermine any possibilty of gaining/ meeting new people and opportunities that will benefit our lives as a whole. Random Question but,,,,, have you ever thought to leave your OLD self with the OLD people so that you can meet the NEW you for the NEW year?

Dam Dam Dam, as fast as it came another year has ended. So many things happened in 2012 & without a doubt so many were lost such as legends like Whitney Houston, Don Cornelius, Dick Clark, Etta James, Donna Summers, MCA from the Beastie Boys & last but not least my Grandmother & my Mom. I was very close with my mom and we hungout daily, infact she is who I owe my art career to. As a kid while sitting writing checks & paying her bills my mom wud sketch and draw all over her bill envelopes with a ink pen. In fact many of the drawings I still remember to this day and the fact that now that i look back my mom did it all with inkpens so there was no erasing and etc. My mom was the first artist i ever met and wut she did during bill time inspired my whole way of life. This past holiday season was 1 of the hardest things I ever had to endure,,,, but as i was told as a kid, "the show must go on". On a positive note in 2012 i got to see my lil sister receive her Masters degree in Chicago and is now a Eye Doctor.
May all those lost in 2012 Rest in Paradise & to those still breathing lets not let our living be in vain.
